AIDS Origin Traced to Chimp Group in Cameroon

Cameroon - Chimpanzees living in dense jungles in Africa have been confirmed as the probable source of the HIV virus which caused the human AIDS pandemic.

The researchers say that, as well as solving the mystery about the origin of the virus, the findings open up avenues for future research.
