Appeals court approves increased Trinity River flows

San Francisco, California - A federal appeals court has approved a congressional plan to increase water flows into the Trinity River.

In 1984, Congress mandated restoration of the Trinity to combat dwindling supplies of salmon, steelhead and other fishes.
