Canadians to get break on income tax: report

Ottawa, Canada - Canadians can look forward to modest relief on their income taxes after Ottawa unveils its federal budget Wednesday.

Sources tell the The Globe and Mail that, as part of a five-year plan, Finance Minister Ralph Goodale will raise the basic personal amount that people can earn tax free.
