Coop: First In Italy To Offer 100 Pct Biodegradable Bags |
Rome, Italy - Coop shoppers can now use 100 pct biodegradable shopping bags rather than the old ones that only decayed after hundreds of years.
This is a revolution for the 250 million bags distributed each year by the Coop, a sign of the Coop's social responsibility, it being the first chain in Italy to substitute the normal plastic shopping bags.
