Dame Ellen MacArthur Lends Helping Hand to Save Albatrosses

South Georgia Islands - Yachtswoman Dame Ellen MacArthur recently arrived on South Georgia Island (located in the South Atlantic, about 1400km west of the Faulkand Islands) where she is working along side Ben Sullivan of BirdLife International to conduct a survey of seabirds in the region.

'Save the Albatross' has come up with a number of effective solutions to the problems of longline fishing.
