Earliest Animal Footprints Ever Found

source: Terra Daily | Oct 07, 08 | submitted by Ryan

Columbus OH (SPX) Oct 07, 2008 - The fossilized trail of an aquatic creature suggests that animals walked using legs at least 30 million years earlier than had been thought. The tracks -- two parallel rows of small dots, each about 2 millimeters in diameter -- date back some 570 million years, to the Ediacaran period.

Oct 13 It breaks my heart to see people spend years and years of studies and research and they still remain part if the ignorant masses.
What makes this find special? Tracks are found of something in a rock layer that was not supposed to be in there. Totally in the wrong period / age. Those who are honest will admit that all the layers and ages are all guessed, based on the assumption that the earth is 4 billion years old and that evolution is true. Layers are aged according to index fossils, and index fossils are dated according to the age of rock layers. That's silly. The find is special, because it just shows again that the theory does not hold water. Just get another theory. If scientific observation finds things that contradict a theory, then the theory is wrong. There is no such thing as a transitional fossil.

Oct 17 It breaks my heart too when people think they know every thing about anything. But, I guess each to his own.
What makes this find special (in part) is probably the location and way it was found. Are you so sure that evolution didn't happen? Science isn't a rock hard fact, but rather an investigation into the probabilities and possibilities of things, and when something comes up, most are willing to change their previous 'Theory' into a current 'Theory, which is more honest than some people slambashing others for trying to possibly answer question that the science community might have.
