Entergy gets $89.4 million grant for Katrina recovery

Jackson, Mississippi, USA - Entergy Mississippi has received an $81.4 million federal grant that will help offset the cost of restoring customers' power after Hurricane Katrina, the utility said.

The utility said in a statement that the federal grant will pay for disaster relief, long-term recovery and restoration of infrastructure in the areas most affected by Katrina.
