Envoy says interim government for Iraq is possible

United Nations - UN envoy Lakhdar Brahimi has told the Security Council that in spite of the violence in Iraq, he believes it's possible to set up an interim government in the country by the end of May.

Brahimi, a former Algerian foreign minister, was asked by the Bush administration to help shape a possible interim government in Iraq that would run the country until formal elections in January 2005.
