|
Panama and China - Two reforestation projects, intended to improve the immediate ecosystem as well as fight climate change, have received the first certification under comprehensive new standards launched by the Climate, Community & Biodiversity Alliance.
The trees planted in these areas will together remove over 850,000 tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere over the next 30 years.
