First Christmas a joy for Halgrim orphanage children
"When they all came downstairs together and into the main room, it is indescribable -- the cheering, the joy, the jumping around, the excitement for them to see that tree packed and all the stockings laid out for them."
- Bill Cunningham, orphanage worker
Nairobi, Kenya - Recently I wrote about a group of Southwest Floridians who traveled to Nairobi, Kenya to help realize the dying wish of a Fort Myers teenager.
I wanted to share one more story: Christmas in Africa. Orphaned children woke up Dec. 25 and found presents under a Christmas tree for the first time in their lives.
