First Cubs of Endangered Iberian Lynx Born in Zoo

Madrid, Spain - Three Iberian lynx have been born in Spain, the first cubs of the world's most endangered feline to be born in captivity, the Environment Ministry said on Tuesday.

There are only 100 Iberian lynx left in the wild, according to Portuguese activists SOS Lynx, and Spain launched an emergency breeding programme to prevent them becoming extinct.
