Global event encourages thrifty habits

Everybody would like to bolster their savings a bit and there is no better time to do so than on World Thrift Day which is currently taking place across the globe.

First held in 1924 in Milan following the inaugural International Thrift Congress, World Thrift Day is held on 30 October each year and aims to promote the benefits of saving across the globe.
