Good News Guy: Quilting hobby benefits homeless mothers

By day, Reno's Layne Slack works in the payroll department at Intuit.

During the past few months, the 61-year-old Slack has handcrafted about 30 crib-sized quilts that have been donated to the Reno Women's Homeless Shelter, Tru-Vista and various young mothers who are expecting babies.
