Government Tackles Child Labour |
Namibia - Though it is a fact that exploitative forms of child labour still exist in the country, it is not yet known to what extent these practices exist.
"The Namibian Government and its social partners have recently embarked on a national process towards formulating an Action Program-me for the Elimination of Child Labour (APEC) and the information obtained from the Child Activity Survey of 1999," Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Petrus Iilonga announced yesterday.
