Granholm signs law to fight fraud

Lansing, Michigan - Whistleblowers can sue a Medicaid provider on the state's behalf to fight fraud under legislation signed Tuesday by Gov. Jennifer Granholm.

An employer is barred from firing, demoting, suspending or threatening an employee because he or she has sued or cooperated in a fraud investigation.
