Heroic Teacher Grabs Wheel On Swerving Bus

Morris, Alabama, USA - An elementary school math teacher's quick thinking may have prevented a terrible bus accident from turning into an all-out tragedy when the driver of the bus passed out at the wheel while carrying 44 children on a field trip to Chattanooga's Tennessee Aquarium.

The teacher, Amy King, grabbed the steering wheel and tried to straighten the swerving bus, witnesses told The Birmingham News.
