IMF Writes Off $82M in Debt for Cambodia |
Phnom Penh, Cambodia - The International Monetary Fund is writing off $82 million owed by Cambodia, which is struggling to revive its economy after decades of armed conflict.
John Nelmes, the IMF's representative in Cambodia: "because of its overall satisfactory recent macroeconomic performance, progress in poverty reduction, and improvements in public expenditure management"
