India’s exports to top $150 bn by ‘10

Exceeding the 16 per cent target, India's exports is set to cross 20 per cent this fiscal and is likely to double to $150 billion in value terms by 2009-10, according to commerce secretary S N Menon.

The optimism stemmed from the increased confidence of Indian industry and changes adopted by the companies by way of modernisation, he told reporters at the inauguration of Capexil's new office premises here today.
