NASA Prepares for Mission to Pluto

Cape Canaveral, FL - After nearly two decades of promises and false starts, NASA is preparing a mission to the only planet in the solar system that has yet to be surveyed by a robotic scout.

These frozen worlds have never been exposed to the higher temperatures and radiation levels of the inner solar system and are prized by researchers seeking information about the original conditions in the solar system.
