New Indicator For Colon-Cancer Risk
Chicago, Illinois - An inflammation-related blood protein that can signal an increased risk for heart disease can also tell who may be at risk for colon cancer, a study said yesterday.
But researchers at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore said more research was needed to determine what benefit the findings may have in helping prevent the second-leading cause of cancer death in the United States.
