Nigerian Kidnappers Free Oil Workers, Italy Says

Port Harcourt, Nigeria - Nigerian kidnappers freed an Italian and two other oil-industry employees who were abducted in the latest violence aimed at foreign workers in the African country.

Two of the victims were employees of Saipem SpA, an oil- services company and unit of Italy's Eni SpA, and all three have been brought back to the Eni camp in Port Harcourt, the coastal city in the southeast near where they were kidnapped yesterday, a spokesman for Italy's foreign ministry said today.
