Nova Scotia bans smoking in cars with children as of April 1

Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada - On April 1, Nova Scotia will become the first province in Canada to make it illegal to smoke in motor vehicles with anyone under 19 inside.

The amendment was passed by the legislature on Thursday.
