Pakistan government seeks end to forced marriages |

Islamabad, Pakistan - Pakistans government introduced a bill in parliament Tuesday seeking to end the forced marriage of women and girls and allowing females to inherit property, officials said.
The bill, which has yet to be adopted by parliament, would outlaw notorious customs like 'vani,' where blood feuds in rural areas are settled by offering young girls in marriage to the offended party.
