Pakistan to respond positively to India’s peace proposals: spokesman
Islamabad, Pakistan - Pakistan said on Wednesday it has taken note of India's proposals in which New Delhi unveiled a series of measures aimed at improving relations with Islamabad and forging progress in the Kashmir dispute.
"The proposals will receive serious consideration and Pakistan's response to any proposal that is substantive and unconditional and genuinely designed to improve relations will as always be positive," a spokesman of the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Indian Foreign Minister Yashwant Sinha told a news conference in New Delhi on Wednesday that New Delhi has informed Islamabad of some surprise proposals which include resuming cricket ties and boosting transport links between the two countries.
