Quebec to crack down on wood-burning stoves

Montreal - Quebec is planning to crack down on pollution-spewing wood stoves that have become popular in the province since the 1998 ice storm.

Environment Minister Thomas Mulcair plans to introduce legislation governing wood stoves later this year, ministry spokeswoman Chantale Turgeon confirmed with CTV.ca.
