Rajasthan to create another national park

Jaipur Rajasthan - The Rajasthan government, under fire for failing to maintain the wildlife sanctuaries of Ghana, Ranthambore and Sariska, plans to recognise Dara wildlife sanctuary as a national park.

Senior official of the state forest department: "We have started the work to recognise the sanctuary as a national park. In the first phase the proposed national park will encompass an area of 100 sq km, which would later be expanded to 265 sq km"
