Red wine fights lung inflammation: study |
London, England - Red wine sipping is not only good for your heart, but also beneficial for your lungs, thanks to resveratrol, a chemical found in the skins of red grapes.
Scientists say resveratrol could help fight lung inflammation by reducing the amount of harmful chemicals present.
However, they warned that wine-guzzling is not a solution for patients of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) which includes diseases like chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
