Russian spacecraft carrying U.S. astronaut lands safely

Kazakhstan - A Russian Soyuz spacecraft carrying a three-man crew that included American Bill McArthur descended to a successful landing in Central Asia late Saturday.
The pre-dawn touchdown in remote Kazakhstan ended a 190-day mission to the international space station for McArthur, 54, and Russian cosmonaut Valery Tokarev, 53. They were accompanied by Marcos Pontes, 43, who wrapped up a 10-day mission as Brazil's first astronaut.
