Tanzania: Country Commits $952 Million to National Water Programme

Dodoma, Tanzania - Tanzania has unveiled an ambitious programme to develop water resources and improve rural water supply and sanitation.

The Minister for Water, Dr. Shukuru J. Kawambwa said, the main objective of the $951 million Water Sector Development Programme is poverty reduction through improvements in the management of water resources and the sustainable delivery of water supply and sanitation services.
