UK still on track for Kyoto

UK - Defra?s latest greenhouse gas figures, released this week, show that the UK is on course to meet the Kyoto reduction targets.

Output of the main greenhouse gases fell by 14.6% between 1990 and 2004, exceeding the agreed 12.5% reduction over the period 2008-2012 for the Protocol.
