US scientist says much surface Gulf oil dispersed

Oil from BP's damaged Gulf of Mexico well is clearing from the sea surface faster than expected, scientists say, 100 days after the disaster began.

Jane Lubchenco, head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, said much oil had been "biodegraded by naturally occurring bacteria".

Jul 30 Common folks. Wales are going to start slamming boats, because they know it is not,& cannot be disperesed. and they know we like to drive our cars more then anything else. HAS the worlds largest oil spill vanished suddenly? magicaly? because? some microbes, that ocure naturally? I dont buy it. A spill in the gulf stream only means that it has been dispearsed around the world a little quicker. ask a whale, hows that water.?
