Vancouver Island park nearly doubles

March 14, 2005

Victoria - Water, Land and Air Protection Minister Bill Barisoff was announcing that Vancouver Island's MacMillan Provincial Park will almost double in size, thanks to a land donation by Weyerhaeuser.

The park is the home of Cathedral Grove, which features towering Douglas Firs up to 800 years old.
