thoughts: I am a student of truth and wisdom, and yes, they both exist. Apart from the run-of-the-mill missives of today’s talking heads and media pundents, there are simple truths often found in simple ways. Wisdom is another matter. It arrives only through trials and our means of dealing with them. I am by no means wise, myself. I merely try to deal well with trials and learn from them.

On a lighter note, isn’t life great? Especially here in America, we are quite blessed by the Founders’ foresight and organization of this country! While powers fight each other for dominion in other countries - even ‘democracies’ - often with the physical casualties of their citizens, our nation has experienced a power balance that is quite enviable. So, here we can basically pursue whatever we want, for good and bad. So use freedom...wisely… ;-). And vote (it’s your country)!
