Syndication Agreement

By syndicating content using our RSS feed you agree to the following:

1. Relationship of parties

Using Great News Network content syndication RSS code (hereafter "the code") on your Website does not create or constitute a joint venture, partnership, agency or franchise relationship between you and the Great News Network.

2. Rights granted

You are receiving non-exclusive electronic rights to publish the syndicated content (hereafter "the content") that the Great News Network delivers through the code that the Great News Network provides.

3. Warranties, indemnification and limitation of liability

Great News Network offers this service with no guarantees. By using the code you waive your right to hold Great News Network liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages resulting from such use.

4. Term and termination

The Great News Network can terminate delivery of the content and modify the content delivered through the code without notification.

5. Violations

Your violation of this agreement may result in the Great News Network requesting that you stop using the code and result in further legal action.

What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a simple XML format designed for distributing and aggregating web content like news headlines. An RSS service (also known as an RSS channel) consists of a list of items, each of which contains a headline, description, and a link to a web page.

How do I use RSS?
Typical applications for consuming or using RSS include:

· Using a program known as a News Aggregator to collect, update and display RSS feeds
· Incorporating RSS feeds into websites and weblogs

News Aggregators: News reader or aggregators will allow you to collect and display RSS service. RSS news readers allow you to view the service you select all together in the same place and, by automatically retrieving updates, stay current with new content soon after it is published.

There are many different news readers available, many for free. Most news readers are applications that you download and install. Some others are web-based service you sign-up for that work inside your browser like MyYahoo!.

Follow the instructions for your particular news reader, and then paste this location wherever it asks for the location of the service you wish to subscribe to. Alternatively, For My Yahoo users, simply visit the news page on GNN that you would like to have an RSS feed for, scroll to the bottom and click on the button.
